In her book The Little Pink Book of Feminine Leadership, Angelina writes "Like the two sides of the Mobius strip, so are the aspects of masculine and feminine leadership qualities. The qualities appear to be opposites. As the Mobius strip teaches us, the qualities of masculine and feminine leadership are subtle variations of one quality. It is not masculine or feminine. It is the balance of differences and, at the same time, the union of separates." Angelina continues, "All of us have both masculine and feminine qualities at our core. For whatever reason, one is nurtured and the other is denied. One is called forth; the other repressed. Regardless, we all have both feminine and masculine qualities." It is this principle of the "the balance of differences and the union of separates" that resonates with Angelina's audiences.
The Balance of Differences . . . The Union of Separates© explores the idea that the qualities of masculine and feminine leadership are, in essence, not two qualities! Although the qualities appear to be opposites, they are, in fact, subtle variations of one quality. Like the curious Mobius strip, they are the twists and turns where one yields to become the other. In this motivational talk, Angelina offers her audiences an opportunity to reflect on their own style, while sharing her personal experiences and she challenges us to consciously choose to balance the differences and unite the separates.
